June is a Party Month
June in the U.S. is synonymous with weddings. And though I did make it to one wedding this month, I also found myself in a whirlwind of other celebrations: the World Cup, Rainforest World Music Festival, and a U.S. Embassy (Early) Independence Day party. Here’s some photos of my adventures this month:
Rainforest World Music Festival makes me happy!
Awkward, but amused
Check the ice sculpture in the bottom right corner!
Posing with my roommate Julia at the Embassy 4th of July party
Sunrise at the festival
French separatists vocally harmonizing
Sunset at the festival
Gordie Mackeeman & The Rhythm Boys, all the way from Canada
Traditional Iban tattooing at Rainforest World Music Festival
Made it to Sarawak just in time for Ken’s wedding!
The largest prawn I have ever consumed.
